Connect Item Setup: Mastering the Essentials
Build on your foundation with a deeper dive into item setup in Connect. We’ll walk through the essential workflows for creating and managing items, including how to navigate Explore and Create, understand bundles, and work through the match and verify process. We’ll also cover key considerations for partner integrations and share helpful questions you can bring to your rep to better understand courseware delivery. Whether you’re setting up items for the first time or refining your approach, this session will help you apply best practices with confidence.
Ready to Launch Part 1: Catalog Setup to Activation
Take the next step toward launch readiness. We’ll walk through the key components of preparing your catalog for activation, using our rush readiness process as a guide. We’ll cover everything from getting your catalog in the system, to reviewing essential checks across items, enrollments, and schedules, to outlining best practice timelines. Whether you’re approaching your first term or refining your process, this session will help you stay organized and move confidently toward launch.
Ready to Launch Part 2: Catalog Audits & Knowing When to Ask for Help
Continue your path to launch readiness by focusing on the final checks and support systems that help ensure a smooth activation. We’ll walk through key catalog audit steps, including content visibility across faculty and student experiences, welcome email timing and best practices, and common catalog “gotchas” to watch for. We’ll also cover LMS term syncs, course matching do’s and don’ts, and important charge file considerations. Finally, we’ll highlight when and how to leverage your escalation toolkit—including the Success Site, support channels, and your CSM—so you know exactly where to turn when you need help.
Day Two: Every Angle: Student, Store & Faculty
Student Experience: From Welcome Email to Bookshelf
Step into the student experience from start to finish. We’ll walk through how students access and engage with their course materials—from the initial welcome email to Bookshelf. You’ll explore key touchpoints along the way, including the course dashboard, My Courses view, and the full LMS experience. We’ll also break down common actions like launching content, revealing access codes, and opting out, along with what happens during launch completion. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of how students navigate the experience and where to focus to ensure a smooth journey.
Billing, Reporting & Analytics: Understanding the Full Picture
Understand what’s happening behind the scenes of your program. We’ll break down key billing models, including how and when students are charged, file delivery options, and important distinctions like continuous vs. batch processing. We’ll then take a deep dive into reporting, covering where to find critical data, how to interpret student and billing reports, and how to track opt-outs. You’ll also get an overview of the Financial Statement Center and a high-level look at analytics and insights to help you better understand and manage your program’s performance.

Collect Customization: Tips, Tricks & What Matters Most
Take your Collect knowledge a step further by focusing on the customizations that make the biggest impact. We’ll highlight key features and configurations—including questions, auto-approve settings, and digital-first adoption processing—and explore not just how they work, but why they matter. We’ll also walk through Course Access (CA) interest and share practical tips to help you fine-tune your approach. Day Three: Be the Connector
Connecting Your Campus: Tools for Student Engagement
Explore the tools that support student success and engagement across your campus. We’ll take a closer look at Bookshelf, CoachMe, Bookshelf+, and Instructor Analytics—what they do, how they’re used, and the impact they can have on learning outcomes. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how to position and support these tools in ways that drive meaningful engagement for both students and faculty.
Building Campus Connections: A Real-World Case Study
See campus connection in action. We’ll explore how our Learning Solutions team can elevate the store’s role through a real-world case study with the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
